Through the veil of time the Monkey God surges forth.

When she was young, Moon became impregnated by a scratch from the a thorn of a Golden Spirit Tree.

Her child, BanaKhana, the future Monkey God was raised on Mercury, to hide him from Sun, who would have killed him in a jealous rage had he known of his existence. 

 

Mercury sits quietly behind the shoulder of Sun at all times, and therefore it is the best place to hide things from Sun.  You wouldn't believe all the stuff stashed away there.

The Monkey God hears all prayers and listens to all grievances. 

 

He consumes sadness and eats disappointment. 

 

His tears heal burns and his kiss will cure insomnia. 

 

One tone from his throat will cure all worry of the heart and mind.

 

Jogging with him on your back will  improve cardio vascular health. (not recommended)
